Sarah- My Beautiful...Deer Hunter?

“Sarah, what do you want for Christmas?”

“You don’t know what I want? I’ll give you a hint. How you gonna see a deer far away on a deer hunt?”

“Binoculars??”

A sweet smile and nod were my answer.

Yes, this is my Sarah Katherine(4)! Her full name means Princess and pure. My “pure princess” wants binoculars for deer hunting. Go figure…

Girl, if this doesn't seal the deal that your Sarah is THE ONE for my Grady, I don't know what else we need??!?!?!?!!?!??

:)

That is one cool kid. I'm speaking "daughter-in-law" over her every time I think about her. :)

That is too cute!

Nicholas is trying to add his two cents as I type. I've had to retype this about six times. : )

Sarah,

My first time by, I so enjoyed your blog. Your family is beautiful. I have to share that my husband and I dream of living on a lake in Texas and we ALMOST took the jump a few years ago when we took the family on a Texas trip. We live in California and consider ourselves wannabetexans.

Blessings!
Joanne

Niiiice. You're totally into dear hunting right Nic? Me too- maybe we should take our girls sometime. What's going on w/ the move?

She sounds like the Complete Woman...a girly girl who can go hunting. She is going to be some young man's dream come true....

My husband used to take our girls duck hunting. It was so cute to see their red hair stuffed into camo hats. Great times!

Being a bona fide city girl myself, I'm not sure about the whole deer hunting thing, but I think it's cool that your daughter is ready and willing to jump into those waters :)

Nicole, what I have to say has nothing to do with this poast, but I wanted to tell you I ran across your comment on Beths blog. The one where you asked her to agree with you that God's word would become opened up to you. I just wanted you to know I read that and I also agreed with you on this and am praying for you. Thank you so much for your passion for the Lord and may His word become alive to you in this year more than ever.

I ran across your comment in the LPM roll call, and realize you are not disclosing your specific location in Texas, but I was just wondering which Gateway Church you attend? I gathered it was in the metroplex since you mentioned Dallas, etc. Anyway, if that is the case, I would guess we are distant neighbors. I will be praying for you and your family. As well as for your desire to have God's Word opened to you. I pray blessings to you most of all.
